We encourage applications from scholars across the full spectrum of the social sciences and humanities. We recruit on all continents. The Research Network 1989 takes a procedural approach. We do not seek to substantially define research issues and questions in advance, but rather to enable communication across boundaries and disciplines. We seek new, original contributions and strive to enable imaginative and critical thinking. We will indicate if similar ideas have been received before and, if desired, provide a matching service.
